Epic Rwanda Safaris is a Kigali-based tour company creating private, tailor-made journeys through Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills. We are Rwandan, we live here, and we know this country through every season, road and trail. We started Epic Rwanda Safaris to share it the way we see it: thoughtfully, personally, and with care for the people and wildlife that make it extraordinary.

Local guides who know the ground
Our English-speaking driver-guides are Rwandan, experienced and proud of their country. They know the parks, the roads, the seasons and the stories, and they stay with you from arrival to departure.
Permits handled for you
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are limited and sell out in busy months. We secure them through the Rwanda Development Board as soon as you confirm, and tell you straight away if your dates are tight.

Rwanda’s gorillas are one of conservation’s great success stories, and every gorilla permit helps fund the parks and the communities around them. We work with local lodges, guides, porters and community projects, so the money you spend stays in Rwanda and supports the people who protect its wild places.
